Anava
Excavating two tunnels in sequence, for the two railway tracks on the Modiin line. The tunnels were constructed at a relatively shallow depth, due to the existence of graves and an archaeological site, using the "umbrella" method – forepoling by means of metal pipes. The side walls in the tunnels were constructed using a continuous form. Portal walls were erected at the entrances and exits to the tunnels, including the construction of cast walls to a height of over 20 m in the section between the two tunnels. The work was carried out to a very tight schedule, and was completed in a year.
Scope of work: approximately US$24 million (NIS 90 million).
The work was carried out by Linom and Hofrey Hasharon.
Dalia Tunnels
יCasting two parallel tunnels, with an overall length of 400 m, on Route 6, using the cut and cover method, including constructing electricity and control rooms, and external installation over the arches. The work was carried out by Linom, in collaboration with Hofrey Hasharon.
Scope of project: approximately US$6.7 million (NIS 25 million).
Quarried Tunnels - Nili
A tunnel and bridge project on Route 6 near Nili. The project included quarrying tunnels and building bridges for Derech Eretz.
Scope of project: US$21.5 million (NIS 80 million).
