Hofrey Hasharon, of the Covenant Group, is a civil engineering company specializing in carrying out large and complex infrastructure projects throughout the country for government and municipal clients.

Eyal Gabay, owner and general manager of Hofrey Hasharon and of the Covenant Group, founded the company in 1989 after completing his service in the IDF. Despite his youth, he had already gained considerable experience in the field by working with his father, David Gabay, an independent contractor. Since then, the company has participated in and won major tenders for complex infrastructure projects.

The company is growing at a fast and consistent rate, placing it securely in the list of leading infrastructure companies in Israel. Cumulative turnover in 2008 was US$110 million (NIS 400 million), and in 2009 BDI ranked Hofrey Hasharon in second place in the infrastructure branch.

The company is able to avail itself of the services of highly experienced engineering planning entities and implementing bodies, advanced mechanical engineering equipment and professional operators. It holds unrestricted contractor classifications and has recognized contractor licenses for performing government contracts.

The company works in four main fields: roads and infrastructures, bridging, tunneling and pipe installation.

The company holds two other infrastructure companies, Linom Ltd., a bridging and tunneling company, and Typhoon, which carries out marine work. Together with them, it implements multifaceted projects that require a combination of disciplines and complex logistic capabilities.
